Combustion Reagents
Our highly efficient combustion reagents ensure complete oxidation and remove halogens, sulphur oxides, and similar interferences where applicable.
Reduction Reagents
High capacity reduction reagents have been developed for complete reduction of the products of reaction and to remove surplus oxygen left from combustion. OEA Labs have enhanced the capacity of these products to the highest performance standards for maximum tube life and economy. They can be confidently used in single or dual tube applications.
Pyrolysis Reagents
Our catalysed oxygen pyrolysis reagents have been developed for complete reaction stoichiometry. The catalytic reaction to carbon monoxide occurs at lower temperatures than would normally be required. We can make these reagents in other metal concentrations, catalytic materials, carriers and/or granule sizes. Please enquire if you have a requirement.
Tube Packing Materials
In order to pack reaction and scrubbing tubes good quality packing materials are required to separate and hold the reagents in place. Because this is often a question of personal choice we offer a wide range of materials and grades. Whatever your choice you will find these materials to be of the highest quality and purity.
CO2 Scrubbing Reagents
OEA Labs offer a number of effective reagents for scrubbing out carbon dioxide and acid gases from helium carrier gas. These are based on sodium hydroxide absorbed on an inert carrier material.
Water Scrubbing Reagents
OEA Labs offer a number of effective reagents for scrubbing out water from helium carrier gas. These are based on magnesium perchlorate flakes and other non-hazardous chemicals absorbed on an inert carrier material.
Interferences Reagents
We have a number of specialist materials that can be used to remove interferences from halogens, sulphur dioxide and other interfering gases.
Additives & Combustion Aids
Our sample additives and combustion aids can be added directly to your capsules to assist combustion and pyrolysis of difficult samples.
